I had been looking forward to having a class in Women and Sexuality Studies for quite a while as it has always been something that I have love. I self volunteered some time by a retreat center in Washington point out many years in the past and was introduced to Bell Hooks during that time so I was very excited to see that a book of hers would be a component to our required reading intended for the class.  On page almost eight of the essential reading the writer writes, " A basic premise of women's studies is that we are unable to understand the globe without understanding women's activities, perspectives, and contributions.
